In a close co-operation with scientists of the Institut für Wildbiologie Göttingen und Dresden e. V. (Institute of Wildlife Biology Göttingen and Dresden/Germany) TeleDart ® has developed the innovative transmitter dart TDS:

Range: about 500 m (in flat open country)
Battery pack: 3 x Varta V319 (21 mAh), 4,5 V (non-rechargeable)
Lifetime: about 72 hours (full power)
Barrel: caliber 11 mm

The transmitter and its antenna are well-protected in the middle of the transmitter dart. This considerably improves the flight ballistics compared to other transmitter darts offered on the market as here the gravity center is situated in the middle of the dart. With only about 20g the weight of the filled dart is quite low.

We produce the TeleDart ® Transmitter Dart TDS following the requirements of the customer for caliber 11mm (standard caliber for cold gas projectors). You can choose the frequence according to the legal requirements of your country resp. the receiver you already use.

In Germany the frequences 150.005 – 150.224 MHz are reserved for tracking purposes.

The transmitter is activated at the moment you insert the battery pack and the lifetime of the battery is about 72 hours. You receive a clear signal up to a distance of 500 m (in open country).

The drug chamber TDS-M of the TeleDart ® Transmitter Dart can be easily changed and also is separately available in different volumes. Just unscrew the drug chamber and replace it by the new volume.

The air chamber TDS-L (which includes the transmitter) is well protected against the mechanical stress at the moment of impact. A solid screw thread connects drug chamber and air chamber.
